What do you like most about yourself, and why?
This
is always a very tough question for me to answer so I will simply say
this… what I like most about myself is that the only person I have ever
strived to be better than is the person I was yesterday. I am not
perfect and I make plenty of mistakes, but it is what you learn from
those mistakes that matters most in the end.
What is one quality you value most in a friend?
The
one quality that I value most in anyone (friend, co-worker, etc…) is
honesty. And, yes, not telling the whole truth is the same as lying!
What is the first thing you do after getting out of bed in the morning?
Brush my teeth. I cannot feel “awake” until I have done this. I can put off showering for a while but I have to brush my teeth!
Describe the first time you fell in love.
Hah!
I don't have an actual memory of this, but I have been told the story
so many times that I will never forget it. I was five years old and in
kindergarten. I befriended a boy in my class and, after some time, I
told him that I loved him and I insisted that I was going to marry him
one day. Apparently he got spooked because he never spoke to me again…
and I mean all the way through high school! I haven't seen him since
graduation and probably never will…
What is one lifelong goal you wish to achieve?
There
are many, but most of all, I just want to know that I made a lasting
difference in at least one person's life. So many people have helped me
get where I am today, and I want to return the favor now that I can.
